It will definitely enrich you with a very different feeling watching a festival and being part of local people in the middle of nowhere in a pine forest at a ancient monastery with whole village coming to witness the festival with great devotion and joy.

Stroll around through the villages seeing all manners of their daily life and participate in a daily routine of locals by engaging in farming, attending a ritual ceremony at a private home, meditating for a while in the prayer halls with monks at a remote monastery or anything similar. Challenge your physical ability by doing some beautiful hikes which ends up at a temple and be the uninvited guests checking in the living rooms of the monks sharing a cup of tea and learn more about their spiritual way of life.
